How much space do you need?
For children's parties, a place in the shade where the kids can sit in a big circle we find works best. If you've booked party games, a place where the kids can run about would be ideal, however we can play games on the floor too.
May I have food out during the reptile show?
From our experience it can be difficult for young children to refrain from eating when a table laden with snacks is within view. And although reptiles are actually quite clean, it's still regarded bad hygiene to mix snacking with patting animals. We are not going to insist food isn't put out, but we'd prefer food to be out of sight during the presentation.
Is the dog going to be alright around the reptiles?
No. We must insist that ALL pets are away prior to and during the reptile show.
What games do you play?
This question feels like a spoiler. Most of the games are typical/traditional party games, but with a fun reptile spin. If you want specifics we'll need to chat on the phone.
Do I need to pay extra for adults and babies at the party?
No. We charge for participants only; that's everyone involved in the show, and in the case of some of our Party Packages requiring a party bag. Grown-ups are encouraged to watch the show and take photos too :)
Can we host a party at your location?
No. We are a private zoo and not open to the public.
We booked for 10am, do you start or arrive then?
Your booking time represents the start of the presentation, we usually arrive 10 minutes early to get acquainted and set up. Please ensure your guests arrive before we do, so that we can start on time.
What if we need to reschedule or even cancel a booking?
That's life right. But please don't take our services for granted, and do give us as much notice as possible. The truth is, we suffer finiancial damage from clients that fail to keep or reschedule bookings. Especially if we're unable to recoup the loss by booking another client. To mitigate this loss, clients that fail to cancel within a reasonable period of time may be charged a cancellation fee. We consider a reasonable period of time to be 5 business days prior to service date.
